The recalled blowers have a model number of BR 420C and a serial number in the following ranges: 47988257 through 47989256 and 49014561 through 49015560. The name, "STIHL," and the model number, BR 420C, appear on the starter. The serial number is printed right above the starter.

- STIHL has received four reports of fuel hoses dislodging. No injuries have been reported.

- Stop using the backpack blower immediately and return it to the STIHL dealer where purchased, for a free repair.
