CPSC, Kohl's Department Stores Announce Recall of Halloween Candleholders

The recalled Halloween ghost candleholders are about 10 inches tall and are made of acrylic. The ghosts are white and hold a small orange pumpkin, in which the tea-light candle sits. Two orange pumpkins are painted along the hem of the ghost. The candleholders were made in China.

• Kohl's has received two reports of the candleholder igniting, causing smoke and soot damage to surrounding property. No injuries have been reported.

• Consumers should stop using the candleholders immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund.
