This recall involves the STX Shield throat protector. The throat protector is black and has the letters "STX" engraved on the outer surface of the protector. It has straps attached by silver screws on each side and bottom of the protector to attach it to a lacrosse goalie's helmet below the helmet's chin guard.

• STX has received one report of the Shield throat protector breaking, resulting in reported bruising and lacerations to the user's neck.
